Have your child join a day camp class at ARTIS on their next teacher planning day, holiday, break, etc. We offer day camp classes for teacher planning days and (most) national holidays, so your mind can be at ease while you work knowing your kids are working out their creative muscles.

Workshops
During this course students will learn to analyze themes & symbols in important artworks from major cultures and art movements, as well as their cultural influence throughout history. We'll be discussing the following art periods:
Italian Renaissance (1300-1500)
Baroque (17th century)
Impressionism (1860’s)
Post-Impressionism (1886-1905)
Realism (1848, post French Revolution)
Cubism (1900-1920’s)
Surrealism (1920’s)
Abstract Expressionism (1940’s/50’s)
Including artists like:
DaVinci, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Courbet, Caravaggio, Rembrands, Picasso, Kahlo, Dali, Ernst, Kandinsky, Rothko, Pollock and many more!
Join us on Saturday September 21 from 5-7pm for a special paint-nite session! We'll be teaching you the techniques necessary to create this beautiful masterpiece, its totally customizable too!

Dust off that DSLR camera you got for Christmas or has been sitting around because it's too heavy to lug around! As a Mom and photographer, my passion has been capturing my children and their "littleness". My goal for you is that you'll learn how to properly use your camera to document your own children, making the everyday things you do special. During this class, you’ll have an opportunity to learn how your camera works in Manual Mode to take a better photograph of your children. Learn how to manipulate your settings to get the outcome you want to see. Any and all DSLR cameras are welcome! Here’s more of the content that we’ll cover:
