Artis Studio
Parent Policies & Agreement
Thank you for choosing Artis Studio! We are excited to provide your child with a creative, engaging, and supportive art experience.
Please review the following policies before completing registration. By registering your child for an Artis Studio program, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the policies below.
1. Registration & Enrollment
Registration is completed online through the Artis Studio website.
A child's enrollment is confirmed once registration has been completed and payment has been received.
Art Club programs require a minimum of 6 enrolled students to operate. If the minimum enrollment is not reached, Artis Studio reserves the right to cancel the program. Parents will be notified if this occurs.
Enrollment may be available after a program has started if space remains. Please contact Artis Studio before registering for a late enrollment.
2. Tuition & Payment
Art Club tuition covers instruction, lesson planning, and all art materials and supplies needed for the program.
Payment options may include online invoice, PayPal, Venmo, or check, depending on the program.
Parents are responsible for completing payment according to the registration information provided for their child's school and program.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because Artis Studio plans lessons, purchases materials, and reserves instructional time based on enrollment, registration fees are non-refundable once the program has begun.
Parents are encouraged to review the program dates, schedule, and policies carefully before completing registration.
If Artis Studio must cancel a program before it begins due to insufficient enrollment or another circumstance beyond our control, parents will be notified and provided with information regarding any applicable refund or alternative arrangement.
4. Student Absences
Art Club is a group-based enrichment program, and lessons are planned according to the program schedule.
Make-up classes are not provided for individual student absences. This includes absences due to illness, vacations, appointments, extracurricular activities, or other personal circumstances.
Artis Studio cannot provide tuition refunds or credits for individual missed classes.
5. School Closures & Weather
If an Art Club session is canceled because the school is closed due to severe weather or another school closure, Artis Studio will provide a scheduled make-up class at the end of the semester whenever possible.
Because a make-up opportunity is provided, tuition will not be refunded for a school closure or weather-related cancellation.
If a make-up class cannot be provided, Artis Studio will communicate directly with families regarding the available options.
6. Class Location & Dismissal
Art Club takes place at your child's participating school.
Depending on the school and available facilities, classes may be held in an art room, classroom, cafeteria, library, multipurpose room, or another designated school space.
Parents are responsible for following their school's established dismissal and pickup procedures.
Artis Studio instructors will follow the school's procedures for student dismissal at the conclusion of each class.
7. Student Behavior & Participation
Artis Studio is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment where every child can participate and enjoy the creative process.
Students are expected to:
-
Treat instructors and classmates with respect.
-
Follow reasonable classroom directions.
-
Use art materials and school property appropriately.
-
Respect other students' artwork and personal space.
-
Participate in a manner that allows others to learn and create.
Artis Studio uses positive, relationship-based classroom management practices and principles of Conscious Discipline®.
If a student's behavior repeatedly disrupts the learning environment or creates a safety concern, Artis Studio may communicate with the parent/guardian and, when appropriate, the school administration.
In cases of persistent or serious behavioral concerns, a student may be withdrawn from the program.
8. Health, Allergies & Safety
Parents/guardians are responsible for informing Artis Studio of any known allergies, sensitivities, or other information that may affect their child's safe participation in Art Club.
Artis Studio makes reasonable efforts to select and use age-appropriate art materials and to maintain a safe and supervised learning environment.
Parents should follow their child's school policies regarding illness and attendance. Children who are not well enough to attend school should not attend Art Club.
In the event of an injury or emergency, Artis Studio will follow the participating school's emergency procedures and contact the appropriate school personnel and/or parent/guardian as required.
9. Art Materials & Clothing
Artis Studio provides all art materials and supplies required for Art Club.
Students should wear clothing that they do not mind getting messy. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep materials contained, art can be unpredictable!
Parents are responsible for providing appropriate clothing for participation.
10. Student Artwork
Students will be able to take their completed artwork home.
Depending on the project, artwork may be sent home weekly or every other week. Some larger or multi-step projects may take several class sessions to complete.
Artis Studio is not responsible for artwork that is lost, damaged, or left behind after the conclusion of the program.
11. Communication With Families
Artis Studio may communicate with registered families by email regarding:
-
